Our story

You found the planner. Then you had to find everything else.

A Hemlock & Oak planner is a good place to start. Then you go looking for stickers, tabs, an insert for your side business or a cover for the commute, and the questions begin. Is this sticker the width of the weekly box? Will this washi pull up the 70gsm paper? Will this A5 cover fit a hardcover A5 planner?

Most of us answered those questions by buying, measuring and returning. Small makers had the opposite problem: they made products that fit beautifully, and the people who needed them couldn't find them.

Paper Grove connects the two. We list independent makers whose products fit Hemlock & Oak planners, note exactly which sizes and papers they suit, and send you straight to their shop. You spend less time measuring and more time planning, journaling or making a spread you like.

Mission and values

Help planner people buy with confidence, and help small makers get found.

Fit comes first

A product is listed only when we know which planner sizes and layouts it suits.

Makers keep the sale

We link to the maker's own shop. We don't take a cut of their sales.

Plain, useful listings

Each listing says what it is, what it fits and how it behaves on the paper. No paid rankings.

Independent

We're fans, not part of Hemlock & Oak. We point to their shop for planners and to makers for everything else.

Who runs it

Run by planner people

[Founder name] has planned in a B6 weekly since 2021 and keeps a junk journal on the side. Paper Grove started as a shared spreadsheet of “stuff that fits” and grew from there. Placeholder

How we check a listing

  • Size: which of the five planner sizes it suits
  • Trim: whether inserts stay inside the page edge
  • Layout: matched to weekly and daily box widths
  • Paper: tested on 120gsm and 70gsm where it matters
